Your Path to Becoming an ACC Coach

Eligibility Requirements
- 60+ hours of coaching education—building the bedrock of your coaching practice.
- 100+ hours of coaching experience—putting your learning into real-world practice.
- 10 hours of Mentor Coaching—guiding you through the nuances of the coaching craft.
- Performance Evaluation—ensuring that you can demonstrate your proficiency with real coaching moments.
- ICF Credentialing Exam—the final step to solidify your dedication and readiness to serve as a professional coach.
Experience Requirements
To become an ACC, you must demonstrate that you’ve already begun your journey of coaching practice:
- 100 hours of coaching experience with at least eight clients.
- 25 hours of coaching experience must have occurred in the last 18 months, ensuring your skills are current and in-demand.
- At least 75 of those 100 hours must be paid—confirming your commitment to your profession and the value you bring.
