Mastery in Coaching: More Than Just a Skill

The PCC Credential is for coaches who have made coaching the core of their professional identity. It is for those who have proven their foundational skills in Level 1 and are now seeking to demonstrate mastery.

At Neptune Excellence, we believe that coaching is a lifelong journey. The PCC is the next step for coaches committed to continuously evolving their practice. As you embark on this journey, you will discover the power of advanced questioning, deep listening, and intuitive partnering. You will transition from a coach who helps clients achieve basic goals to a catalyst who empowers clients to create lasting, systemic transformation in their personal and professional lives.

The Neptune Excellence Difference: Mastery Beyond the Mechanics

Reaching the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level requires more than just accumulating hours; it requires a profound shift in how you observe, listen, and partner with clients. At Neptune Excellence, you are not just learning from instructors—you are being mentored by active, globally recognized coaching leaders.

Led by Masters of the Craft

Your PCC journey is guided directly by our founders, who bring decades of corporate and behavioral expertise to the classroom:

    • Sanjay Shesh (ICF-MCC, ACTC & NLP Master Practitioner): As a Master Certified Coach, Sanjay trains you to move beyond textbook frameworks. He focuses on the “art of the pause,” advanced intuitive questioning, and the integration of NLP techniques.
    • Dhanya Menon (ICF-PCC & NLP Master Practitioner): Dhanya brings a sharp focus on emotional intelligence and empathetic challenge, helping you build the psychological safety necessary for high-stakes conversations.

Our Signature Methodology

Our Level 2 (PCC) curriculum is a proprietary blend of rigorous ICF Core Competencies and advanced psychological frameworks, including:

    • Emotional Regulation & Intelligence: Manage your own triggers while holding space for complex client challenges.
    • Systems & Gestalt Thinking: View the client as part of a broader corporate or personal ecosystem.
    • Real-Time, Observed Coaching: Coach live and receive immediate, granular feedback on your blind spots from MCC and PCC evaluators.

FAQ

1. What is the difference between ACC and PCC credentials?
The ACC (Associate Certified Coach) is the foundation level requiring 60 hours of education and 100 hours of experience. The PCC (Professional Certified Coach) is the advanced level requiring 125 hours of education and 500 hours of coaching experience.
2. How long does it take to get a PCC certification?
The coach-specific training for a PCC takes approximately 3 to 6 months to complete. However, the overall timeline depends on how quickly you can accrue the mandatory 500 hours of coaching experience required by the ICF.
3. Does Neptune Excellence provide the required mentor coaching?
Yes. The mandatory 10 hours of mentor coaching required by the ICF are fully integrated into our Level 2 (PCC) coach training program, guided by our MCC and PCC credentialed instructors.
4. Do I need an ACC credential before applying for a PCC?
No, you do not strictly need to hold an ACC credential first. If you complete a Level 2 program and have already accumulated the required 500 experience hours, you can apply directly for the PCC credential.
