About the Program
The Art of Mentoring Excellence is Neptune Excellence’s 65+ hour ICF Advanced Accreditation in Mentor Coaching (AAMC) program, designed for experienced coaches who aspire to become highly skilled Mentor Coaches. Mentor Coaching is a structured developmental process that helps coaches strengthen their coaching competence through observation, reflective dialogue, and competency-based feedback aligned with the ICF Core Competencies, ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies and ICF Code of Ethics. Rather than evaluating a coach, Mentor Coaching focuses on supporting continuous learning, professional growth, and coaching excellence.
This program integrates internationally recognized mentoring standards with extensive practical learning. Participants explore the principles of Mentor Coaching, learn how to observe coaching conversations through the lens of the ICF Core Competencies, mentor coaching competencies facilitate reflective learning, deliver meaningful developmental feedback, and support coaches in their professional journey. The learning experience combines live faculty-led sessions, demonstrations, practice mentor coaching, peer learning, case studies, reflective assignments, and guided feedback, ensuring every participant develops the competence and confidence to mentor coaches effectively.

Eligibility Requirement
Participants are expected to hold an active ICF Credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC) or meet the eligibility requirements established by the International Coaching Federation for Mentor Coaching education.
